Klara Gronet
Concert violinist, soloist and a chamber musician.
Klara Gronet was born in Warsaw, Poland in 2000. She started playing violin at the age of six at Anna Rzymyszkiewicz’s class in Warsaw.
Having obtained her Bachelor Diploma in Conservatorium Maastricht (NL) with Prof Robert Szreder, and her Master Degree in Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (DE) with prof Mihaela Martin, Klara is now continuing her studies- Konzert Examen- in Cologne with prof. Ye-Eun Choi.
Klara has won a number of prestigious national and international competitions and has given several critically acclaimed solo recitals in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Poland.
Performances in Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Phillips Hall in Eindhoven, Mozarteum in Salzburg, Duke’s Hall in London, as well as the Warsaw Philharmonic, NOSPR, Studio S1 and The Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music feature as highlights, alongside many other concert halls, in her career to date.
Festivals such as the Encuentro de Musica y Academia de Santander (Spain), Linos Festival (Germany) and Academy Villecroze (France) have showcased her talent, whilst she has performed as a soloist with the Polish Radio Amadeus Chamber Orchestra, the Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra and The Delft Symphony Orchestra amongst others.
As part of deepening her knowledge and understanding of the repertoire, Klara has participated in masterclasses with many prominent musicians, such as prof. Dora Schwarzberg, prof. Stephan Picard and prof. Zakhar Bron.
In 2021 she formed Duo Ambré together with her musical partner Sonja Kowollik (pianoforte), actively popularizing lesser known music from Poland through concerts in Germany.
Klara has mostly recently joined Conceptus, an international multi-faceted ensemble, whose artistic director is Scott Robert Shaw. She performs on the Debut Album Gods, Ghosts and Monsters, which will be released in May 2024.
Klara is supported by the Julian Cochran Foundation.
Klara Gronet plays a highly valuable violin made by Max Muller (Amsterdam 1928) which has been loaned by M. C. Rijsemus (Maastricht).
